Fypon introduces our new unassembled column wrap. This wrap was designed to meet a specific opportunity in the marketplace, targeting builders, remodelers, and contractors who are fabricating column wraps out of wood, PVC, or other building materials in the field.
Our new column wrap provides double the value. It has the same patent-pending design as our semi-assembled column wrap, which allows the wrap to act independently from the pressure-treated support post. This provides the freedom to position the product on the porch or deck, and prevents the column wrap from splitting if the pressure-treated post twists.
By providing the wrap unassembled Fypon can reduce the price point, making the product competitive with field fabrication while still providing the convenience of a complete kit.
This combination provides contractors, builders, and remodelers the price point they desire and the labor-saving design - the best of both worlds.
Product Details
Fypon’s unassembled column wraps are available in widths of 6", 8", 10" & 12" and in a variety of standard heights, allowing you to find the perfect size to fit your project and your budget. Available in the Economy Plain style, they come with the Box style cap and base. Both the cap and base have a square-cut design and lock-miter joints to assist with installation. The column wrap may be easily field-trimmed to any length, if required. For a complete listing of sizes, please see the unassembled column wrap sell sheet.
The unassembled column wraps ship flat, with the column shaft in four pieces, and the cap and base in four additional pieces. The complete kit includes the adhesive, screws and cleats needed for installation.
